Post Toronto Raptors
The Raptors are off to a nice start this season, and Chris Bosh and Jose Calderon continue to lead the way, as Jermaine O'Neal slowly finds his way into peak game shape having had 17 points and 8 rebounds on opening night, and then getting into foul trouble in the following two games.

Still say it was a good all around trade between the Pacers and the Raptors

I totally agree. The Raptors have lacked interior defence for a few years, and I think Jermaine can certainly help inside, and TJ provides steady scoring for the Pacers. My only reservations with TJ are that he doesn't always look to pass at times and sometimes takes bad shots.

Maybe in a few years we will meet in the conference finals. I think that would be sweet.

IMO, Hibbert was the gem of the trade for the Pacers ... he will be a force on the inside by the end of the year or next year at the latest.

Mike, I totally agree. I think this trade will be good for both teams in the long run, at least I hope so. It is for tha very reason I refuse to relinquish my allegiance to the Pacers, as that always gives me two options, so when I attend a game in Toronto against the Pacers regardless of the outcome I go home a happy man.

When Free Trows Make the Difference....... A missed free throw by Anthony Parker in regulation time prevented the Raptors from taking a 4 point lead, and then Vince Carter hit a three pointer with .5 seonds to go andsend the game into overtime.

Carter then went on to dunk the ball off an in-bound pass to lead the Nets to victory in of the most exciting games
in recent history.

Jermaine O'Neal sprained his surgically repaired knee as a result of a flagrant foul commited against him, and tried to play on it against the Celtics, but his mobility was compromised, and he was forced to leave the game early in a 118-103 loss.

So after a promising start the Raptors are now 6-7.

The real question is will Toronto be able to keep Chris Bosh after next season?
