MW - (WBA) - Mike Gibbons (CH) (39-2-1) scored a TKO3 win over Jeremiah Ross* (7/14) (19-2) (pre) for his third defense of the WBA MW title. Ross* never stood a chance in this title fight. He was knocked all around the ring in the first, cut and swollen in the 2nd, recut and stopped in the third

FW - (MBF) Salvadore Sanchez (UR) (13-0) (pre) scored a UD12 win over Jorge Munoz (UR) (2-12) (pre) for his seventh defense of the MBF FW title. Munoz was down 7 times but kept getting up and survived until the final bell

LHW - (WBA) Bob McAllister (CH) (37-4-2) scored a UD15 win over Joe Middleton (5/8) (18-1) (pre) for his 6th defense of the WBA LHW title. McAllister's WBC and IBF titles were no on the line in this fight. McAllister dominated the fight, Middleton got a couple of pity points from the other judges

Rowsell didn't seem ready for this fight as he lost 3 of the first 4 rounds but then he dropped Amoka* in the 5th, 7th, and 8th rounds to take a commanding lead. Amoka* scored a one punch KO in the 10th

JFly - (CBU) Neil Urien* (11/9) (16-4) scored a SD12 win over Gicheru Ajamu* (23/26) (10-5-2) (pre) for his first defense of the CBU JFly title. Scores were all over the place but most felt Urien* dominated the fight including scoring a knockdown

World Title Fight

HW - (WBC) Billy Miske (CH) (20-0) scored a TKO15 win over Obed Sullivan (13/16) (19-1) for his second defense of the WBC HW title. Sullivan was in the fight the whole time and knocked the champ down in the 13th round. Miske rallied to win the 14th and drop Sullivan in the 15th before the ref stopped the fight

MW - (CBU) Alan Minter (31/19) (22-2) (pre) scored a TKO8 win over Richard Murphy (4/20) (16-1) for his third defense of the CBU MW title. Murphy was cut in the 5th and knockdown in the 7th, he rallied early in the 8th to score his own knockdown but by the end of the round he was bleeding and helpless on the ropes

Scorecard: 67-65

JMW - (OBF) Kevin Kelly (19/15) (17-3-1) scored a TKO9 win over Hubert Gobrait (49/51) (9-6-2) for his third defense of the OBF JMW title. Gobrait was dropped in the 8th but was pretty beat up with one eye swelling shut and cuts above both eyes ... the ref stopped it in the 9th

LW - (MBF) Saul Duran (37/15) (18-3) scored a TKO11 over Francisco Amaya* (8/16) (14-3-1) to win the vacant MBF LW title. Amaya* scored two knockdowns in this fight but was losing the war as Duran was winning the majority of the rounds. Amaya's right eye was swollen shut from the 8th round on and it was finally enough to be stopped

CW - (EBU) Terry Dunstan (5/3) (17-3) scored a KO9 win over Alain Simon (25/26) (14-5) for his second defense of the EBU CW title. Dunstan dominated the fight dropping Simon 4 times before he finally stayed down

JFW - (WBC) Arthur Johnson (CH) (20-2-2) scored a TKO14 win over Pedro Leal* (3/3) (19-5) for his first defense of the WBC JFW title. Johnson was in control the whole fight dropping Leal* three times and cutting him badly early in the fight. The cut stopped the fight in the 14th

JLW - (WBA) Alexis Arguello (CH) (23-0) scored a TKO5 win over the CBU JLW champ Jarrod Bristcoe* (4/6) (18-2) for his 5th defense of the WBA JLW title. Bristcoe's* left eye was completely shut and was not fighting back when the fight was stopped

JBW - (WBC Semifinal) Samson Dutch Boy Gym (1/1) (19-1-1) (pre) scored a UD12 win over Jesper David Jenson (5/5) (18-3-1) to win and move onto the final of the WBC JBW tourney. Dutch Boy was down in the 8th but rallied to drop Jenson in the 10th and avenged his lone loss.
