Post Re: In defense of Andreas
Final stat for a month of fights in the LBA

Fights - 425
Decisions - 294 (69.2%)
KO's - 81 (19.0%)
TKO's - 22 (5.2%)
TKO's (c) - 25 (5.9%)
Injury - 1 (.2%)
DQ - 2 (.5%)

Much more stoppages by cuts in fight cards ... guessing 12-15 in 60 fights than in auto simmed fights. Overall nothing wrong with the total #'s of fights stopped by cuts but if you are doing nothing but running fight cards the #'s would look high for sure.

Next month I will examine each fight stopped by cut (cornermen/ref)

I haven't kept track this month ... I was going to but it seemed as though there was a lack of interest ... next month I will look at the cut stoppages and see what % had generic cornermen.

I see that dust tried to make this argument again with zero stats to back up his claim

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/board/2 ... ost51.html

idiots like this always got me in trouble on the board ... they run 3 or 4 fights and claim it broke ... like that one douche that claimed the game was broke because Pavlik didn't throw 75 jabs a round.

Cut stoppages are not a problem and I posted the stats to back it up ...

I must be in a bad stretch for the past 2 weeks with cut stoppages. Last week I fought the unbeaten James Kirkland & now he has a loss due to a cut. Today both Antonio Tarver & Carlos Quintana (trying to pad their records) also both lost due to cuts. That's 3 top level fighters losing bouts to TC's in a week. The worst ones are when they deem the cut is so bad, the fight is stopped right then & the cutman never gets a chance to work on it which is what happened in 2 of these 3 cases.

I did notice more cut stoppages in fights on cards than ones in auto scheduler ... if I have a guy who is undefeated and winning when he gets cut I take over his corner and go with protect cut the rest of the fight

^ Good idea. I'll do that from now on if the guy makes it back to the corner.
