*Both fighters have earned their first title shot. Temple won his last two fight while Flynn is on a six fight win streak.
*Temple appears to be finely tuned for the fight. Flynn's body is showing the wear and tear of a lot of wars.
*The fight was close going into the tenth, Temple landed some big punches early and scored two knockdowns before the ref stopped the fight.
