Yeah I agree I'll have the Darchinyan vs. Agbeko fight for TBCB predicts ... Agbeko might be a little under rated so Vic should win in a rout

Post Re: Ring Magazine Ratings
I think Mark does a great job with the ratings. Of course, everyone doesn't necessarily agree with them but they're very sound overall. And when you consider the time and effort it takes to keep up at the pace he's keeping up with, it's outstanding.

When it comes to re-rating fighters who are retired, it's a real time-consuming job at times. For me, I read past articles on fights, watch films on YouTube. Comb through old magazines that date way back. You forget certain things over time. Like how fast a certain fighter really was. Hearns is a good example. I saw the link posted elsewhere on this board and went over to YouTube to watch it. Hearns was really a monster at his best.

These newer fighters that appear in the Ring's rankings are tough to rank because besides the people who actually reporting on their fights, who can follow them? Some of them have undefeated records and a lot of knockouts, but who knows the caliber of fighter they've been facing.

Vic's opponent, Joseph Agbeko, is a good example. I'm assuming he's tough and fairly strong because he comes from Ghana. All that came from one article I read! Lots of luck rating someone like that before you see him fight someone good!
